the mayflower hotel was awesomely located and the rooftop pool was super chill, def enjoyed the view while sippin drinks. the staff were super friendly and helped us a lot, especially at reception! the rooms were comfy and cleaned daily, which was nice. loved that it was air conditioned everywhere, especially in that heat! oh and there's a good beach just a short walk away!
however, the breakfast could be better, it was kinda unorganized and a bit hectic with too many people. also, sometimes the elevators took ages, we ended up using the stairs a few times.

Had a pretty good stay, but the breakfast got bland after a while and the reception staff were a bit rude, eh? The rooftop pool was a sweet spot to chill though!

Had a blast staying with friends! The breakfast was plentiful and super tasty, and we loved the infinity pool vibe. We explored nearby shops and chilled at the beach just a short walk away. The portable charger station was a great find. The staff was ultra-friendly and helpful. Definitely a good spot to relax after a day out!

The rooftop pool offers a decent space to unwind, but don’t expect shimmering views or a lively bar scene. it’s more of a basic chill spot with an unheated vibe. The hotel is well-located near public transport, making it a breeze to hit the local scene when you feel like exploring.
The Wi-Fi situation is a real stinker. it’s practically non-existent in some rooms, causing a headache especially for those who depend on a solid connection. Breakfast options leave a lot to be desired—fewer varieties and mediocre quality make each morning a bit of a drag. The soundproofing in the hotel is nearly nonexistent, so expect disturbances from the noisy street or guests outside. the elevator is painfully slow during busy times, usually resulting in longer waits than one might hope. On top of that, some rooms suffer from cleanliness issues upon arrival, which is a disappointing start. If you’re picky about bedding, be cautious. many rooms are fitted with twin beds pushed together, which can make for a less-than-comfortable night’s sleep.

The reception area felt like stepping into a cozy living room with elegant décor and soft lighting, perfect for us seniors to relax. The friendly staff were great at offering assistance around the hotel.
More shaded areas by the pool would be nice.

would go back in flash
The deluxe suite was spacious with a breathtaking view of the sea, although a crane partially blocked it. Air conditioning kept us cool, and the cleaning staff were awesome, refreshing our room daily. The rooftop pool provided lovely views too, though it wasn’t in use. Got an unforgettable massage from the spa!

The location made it easy to explore St Paul's Bay. I loved the comfortable bed. perfect for a good night's sleep. The breakfast offered a good variety, with something for everyone. I faced some challenges. The towels provided felt too small, and I noticed they were taken away without being replaced on several days. during my stay, I asked for complementary water in the room, but it never arrived. Minor issues, yes, but after a long journey in the heat, having water readily available would have been appreciated. Despite these hiccups, the room was clean upon arrival and the housekeeping was generally consistent. my experience had its ups and downs, but the good outweighed the bad.
